The Sandstone Donkey Team Donkeys, also called burros and asses, are found throughout the world.
Over the last ten years we have assembled a significant team of donkeys at Sandstone, so much so that we are now effectively a donkey sanctuary.
Under the leadership of our Livestock and Equine Manager, Bianca Van Rooyen, we have been training these animals with our donkey carts and reached a milestone recently with 24 donkeys pulling the cart!
