Another day in the life of Sandstone Estates during the lockdown.

Worldwide it has generally been agreed that farming has to continue so we are not under any draconian restrictions in terms of our ability to carry out the many functions that normally occur on a farm during a working week.

We thought our readers might be interested in what is happening at the moment in autumn at Sandstone Estates in the Eastern Free State.

Firstly it is hay making time and our mowers are working long hours in between some very useful rain showers that we are having in order to make sure that no hay is left on the fields before winter.
