No 4 Edward Thomas on holiday in Highley Over the weekend of 18, 19 and 20 March, our very own No 4 Edward Thomas was one of the stars of the Severn Valley Railway Spring Gala. No 4 took up residence at Highley, next to the Engine Shed, on a portable set of tracks.
The buzz was lovely, especially from the small children who recognised ‘Peter Sam’ and people who remembered visiting Tywyn on holiday years ago.
Particular thanks are due to our friends at the Severn Valley Railway who made us feel so welcome.
