Friday specials included The ‘Day Rover’ – a six and a half hour tour of the railway, the Last, Last, pre-preservation passenger train re-enactment hauled by No 2 Dolgoch, a re-enactment of the winter Pendre to Brynglas passenger service, hauled by No 5 Midlander and finishing off with an evening photoshoot at Wharf with our Fletcher Jennings sisters No 1 Talyllyn and No 2 Dolgoch.

Other special trains included: The first Society train re-enactment  Re-running The Sesquicentenarian Modern Engineering Train hauled by one of the new Baguleys A real Wedding train for Amy and David’s special day The Royal Special.

The rest of the day included: A Mixed Train from Abergynolwyn to Wharf  Showing of The Titfield Thunderbolt and short Talyllyn films on the big screen at Tywyn’s Magic Lantern Cinema Classic Car Gathering at Tywyn Wharf Many thanks are due to Ian Drummond, Ellis Jacklin and everyone else involved for all their hard work organising the events this year – watch out for what we have planned for 2016!
