Perrygrove Railway Gala 22nd and 23rd September 2012

On behalf of Perrygrove Railway, Coleford, Gloucestershire, I would like to announce details of our forthcoming Gala weekend.

Five steam locos scheduled to be in service on our 1.5 mile round trip, including gradients of 1 in 30 and sharp bends:

Home fleet:

Exmoor 0-6-0T “Spirit of Adventure”, built 1993
Heywood replica (built by James Waterfield) 0-6-0T “Ursula”, built 1999
Bush Mills Railway 0-4-0+0-4-0T Beyer Garratt, built 1990
Keef 2-6-2T “Lydia”, built 2008

Visiting loco from Kirklees Light Railway:

Taylor 2-6-2T “Fox”, built 1987

Diesel loco in use:

Lister autotruck 4wDM “Pylon”, first Gala since removal of body and repainting into green.

Intensive service on both days from 1040- approx 1645 including Vintage train running and demonstration goods trains.

Normal admission charges apply, which allow unlimited travel, subject to capacity:

Seniors £5.80
Children £4.90
Family (2ad +2ch) £21.00
