Then Just a reminder that this Saturday & Sunday (8&9th Aug)
is the West Lancashire Light Railways Gala Weekend
It is hoped that all available steam locomotives will be in action, together
with SPECIAL GUEST visiting locomotive ‘MAX’ O&K 10750/1923 from our friends at
the Statfold Barn Railway.
Intensive srvice from 11.30 through to 16.30 both days, good photo opportunities
and possibly a diesel or two down the main line also.
Also, opportunity to see progress on KS2405 of 1915 – Joffre Locomotive
Why not come along and visit this delightful line at Station Road, Hesketh Bank,
Nr Preston, Lancashire PR4 6SP. You will be most welcome
