With the Christmas season fast approaching, parents and grandparents alike will be searching for the perfect festive treat for the children. They need look no further than Bressingham Steam & Gardens this December, where Santa will be flying in for a truly magical Christmas steam experience that is sure to put a smile on every child’s face!
For three consecutive weekends in December, children of all ages can take part in a mini ‘Winter Wonderland’ at one of Norfolk’s leading attractions – with a magical narrow-gauge steam train ride driven by Santa himself, as well as Punch & Judy shows, rides on Bressingham’s magnificent gallopers and the chance to visit an authentic old-fashioned sweet shop for a festive humbug or two!
Santa will be dropping into Bressingham as part of his whistle-stop tour of Norfolk on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th, Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th, Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd December from 2pm-6pm – and every child aged between 4 and 14 years will receive a very special Christmas gift.
Parents and grandparents can explore one of the most comprehensive live steam museums in Europe, with over 40 different steam locomotives, traction and stationary engines and other vehicles, guided tours of the royal coaches and a unique tribute to classic British TV comedy, with the UK’s only official ‘Dad’s Army’ exhibition and the original sets, props and costumes from Only Fools and Horses.
Blooms of Bressingham’s flagship garden and aquatic centre completes Bressingham’s offering, where visitors can find many of the plants that have been incorporated into The Gardens at Bressingham to take home – and a perfect opportunity to shop for those last minute Christmas gifts.
