Launceston tests new loco

A new steam locomotive built for export to America has been tested at Launceston Steam Railway. It is named Dame Ann, and was built by the Exmoor Steam Railway at Bratton Fleming, Devon. She is built to the hunslet design of the 4 locos at Launceston but incorporates modern modifications to produce a better loco. Dame Ann will become resident at Wales West in Alabama.
