Over the past few years, 6 miles of main line have been laid to reach this new peat bog. Now the track is being extended onto the bog to load the peat. Two more trainloads should finish the job for now but another track will be needed in the summer and then another..... Derries Bog, nr Kilclonfert, Co Offaly
