No. 45

0-6-0T no. 45 (Babcock & Wilcox no. 231 of 1928) at the colliery at El Entrego in July 1970. There were railways of three gauges here, all steam worked. No. 45 remained in service until the Langreo was converted to metre gauge in 1983, by which time it was one of the last steam locos in Spain, and is now preserved at the railway museum at Gijon.
