Afghan Express

W933 (ex Western Australian Gov Rly) and 4 (ex Commonwealth Rly) narrow gauge coaches forming the Afgan Express, from Pt Augusta to Quorn Saturday 15th April 2006.W933 was part of an order for 60 locos placed with Beyer Peacock. They entered service between April 1951 and June 1952. The Silverton Tramway (Broken Hill to Cockburn) had four near identical locomotives delivered in October 1951.
