The Bala Lake Railway has had one if its most successful seasons for many years.
Passenger numbers at the end of September had topped the 20,000 mark.
In addition to this the railway had received the accolade of “Tourist Attraction of the Year, North Wales, from the Business Review Group.
This tremendous award is well deserved by all at the railway for their hard work. The year will end with Santa’s annual visit over the weekend of December 6 & 7.
Last year all Sunday trains running fully loaded and only limited spaces on the Saturday. As at mid October bookings are very encouraging and another excellent weekend is anticipated.
