BEV chassis

The first part of the restoration began in 2006, concentrating on the easier (and cheaper!) task of the upper part of the loco. Here we see the bare chassis. The pole in the middle is the brake wheel, it was cut off as it was bent, in the way and threatened to damage the frame casting.
