A new note has been added to the long illustrious 149 Year History of the Talyllyn Railway, all in the name of Facebook Page Likes.
General Manager, Chris Price laid down a challenge to our thousands of Facebook followers that if the total number of ‘Likes’ on the Facebook Page reached 6000, he would change his plans for his day off and head to Cynfal Halt to act as Station Master for the day.
Facebook friends shared, liked and commented away on the Facebook Page and the total stormed to 6000. Starting at 10am Chris manned one of the smallest station platforms in the world, possibly making it the smallest manned Station in the world.
