2-6-0T no. E103 sets off from Famalicao with a train for Porto via Povoa in July 1970. The cross-country line from Famalicao to Povoa closed in 1995. The remainder of the line from Povoa to Porto closec in 2002 for conversion to standard gauge as a part of the new Porto metro system.
