This loco is one of three Beyer Peacock locos supplied to Silverton Tramways (Broken Hill:NSW to Cockburn:SA).These are identical to the W class locos from Western Australia except for the addition of a cowling from funnel to cab along the boiler. See Pichi Richi site for W class photos.
